Day 154, Panamá Canal

So blessed to be able to experience the crossing. The boat was measured and according to size and type of boat we were told what time we needed to meet the pilot to cross. We were originally given an evening crossing, but later received a call to arrive at 1pm for a 2 pm crossing. A bit hectic to get out of the city and get there in time, but all worked out.

The Panamá Canal is an artificial 77km waterway in Panamá That connects the Atlantic ocean with the Pacific ocean. The Canal cuts across the Isthmus of Panama and is the key conduit for international maritime trade.
