Day 80, Estancia living, Argentina

Awesome day visiting the Estencia. Horseback riding, picking lemons, avocados, and berries. An estancia is a Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese term describing private land holdings. In some areas they were large rural complexes with similarities to what in the United States is called a ranch. They are very large farms which are spread over expensive areas often 10,000 hectors. Estancias in the south and south American grasslands, the pumpers have historically been estates used to raise livestock ( cattle or sheep).

During the first centuries of Spanish colonial rule, the Spanish introduce cattle into the colonies for livestock. In the Ferichal areas of northern Mexico and the southern part of South America, these animals roam free, settlers conducted periodic rates to catch in slaughter them. In the 19 century stationary wrenching ventures started to form in the pump is, with permanent buildings in March life stock that clearly defined on a ship they were called estancias, The term indicating the stationary permanent character. The estancia ranch work or on horseback in Argentina, the gaucho has similar status in national folklore and identity to the cowboy of northern America. Since the late 20th century, agriculture has intensified as an industry, the landowners have often shifted from life stock to crop farming in the pampas of Argentina and or a quiet, due to the regions hi soil fertility. A small number of estancias  is in Argentina as well as Uruguay,Paraguay or Chile particularly those with historic architecture have been converted into guest ranches called paradors.
