Awesome day- we walked around the city, it was founded in the early 16th century and was largely destroyed by an earthquake in 1773. Major sites were la Merced church, the ruins of Capuchinas convent and San Francisco cathedral. We visited a candle factory( 150 dips to make a candle!), coffee plantation( 6.5 lbs of raw coffee=1.5lbs of drinking coffee or 36 cups), and artisanal chocolate( YUMMY)​
