Grenada is a Caribbean country composing of a main island, also called Grenada, and smaller surrounding islands. Also known as the spice Island, Grenada is located between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, northwest of Trinidad and Tobago, north east of Venezuela, and southwest of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The islands are a volcanic origin with extremely rich soil. It is a leading producer of several different spices. Cinnamon, cloves, ginger, allspice, orange/citrus peel.
The Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park is what we came to dive. It is a collection of ecological underwater contemporary art located on the West Coast of Grenada and was created by British sculptor Jason de Claire’s Taylor. This is the world’s first underwater sculpture park and was open for public viewing in May 2006. Sadly, both cameras died and the image we have of the humans holding hands is from a book.π
Grenada has 3 national parks, waterfalls, amazing beaches, mountains and lots of history, a must visit.
36 hours to Bonaire, praying calm seas π
