Day 118, Tobago 🇹🇹

Woke up to a beautiful sunny day in Tobago. Tobago is the smaller of the two Caribbean islands comprising the nation of Trinidad and Tobago. It’s known for its wide, Sandy beaches and bio diverse tropical rain forest. Framed by mountains, the village like port capital Scarborough, is anchored by a central food market. Overlooking the city are the 18 century ruins of Fort King George. Some interesting facts are:

Trinidad and Tobago gained independence in 1962. The literacy rate is higher than that of the US at 98%.!!!! English is the official language was Spanish, Hindi, creole, Chinese, Arabic and French are recognized as regional languages. Trinidad and Tobago are two separate islands but are treated as one single country.
