Day 114, pink dolphins

Amazing seeing these unique mammals today. A little bit ugly due to the melon( extra bump) on their head to help sense as their eyesight are poor. These dolphins are wild, but come to this village because they get fed daily. Pink dolphins are not the same dolphins that you would see in the ocean, they have special adaptations to their habitat. In fact river dolphins are only distantly related to see dolphins. There are five species of dolphins that make their home in rivers, being the most popular of them the pink dolphins are also known as a boto, BOUTU or Amazon river dolphins as it inhibits the Amazon river.
