• There are 49 glaciers in this area 70 percent belong to Chile and 30 to Argentina. The Argentinian side are more accessible by foot than here in Chile. The color of the blue in the
• glacier is the effects of the minerals  and reflection of the sun. We got to drink glacier water all day running from the streams and rivers, Pierce even got a large ice cube from the glacier. The wind picked up to 50 miles per hour!!! So glad we didn’t get blown away and made it back safely after our 6 hour hike through the glacier🙏 what an amazing day!! ​
