Correction on the Season for whale sharks here on Isla Mujeres. It’s actually mid May to mid September. You still have time to come visit!!!! ( except on the 30th tomorrow no one will take you😳) We were up early and headed out in the Gulf in search for the Whale sharks!! On route we saw schools of sardines, dolphins and Massive Manta rays that jumped high up into the air( too fast for any photos). The whales sharks were enormous and such gentle creatures (30-60 feet), I almost had forgotten how beautiful they are. We each got three turns to see these gentle giants up close and then it was time for ceviche and guacamole(best ever made by Gatto our captain)
