We flew to the northern part of Guatemala to the city of Flores, to see one of the most important Mayan pre classic period ruins of Central America hidden in the jungle. There are more than 200 minor ruins and 5 major temples. Tikal was the heart of Mayan civilization around 600 A.D. We saw many monkeys, birds and insects on our trek in the rain forest and later went

to zip line  over the canopies before returning back to Guatemala City.
